Position Purpose:

  • The Associate Advisor works under the direction of the Advisor/Clinical Advisor to assimilate and analyze detailed information to identify opportunities for cost reductions, competitive vendor insight, and standardization as well as perform business analytics. This position requires collaboration with subject matter experts, advisors, and managers and demands the capability to meet rigorous deadlines and balance multiple priorities to achieve high levels of productivity.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous health system experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications Desired:

  • None required
  • Some healthcare supply chain, contract management and/or data management experience beneficial, but not required

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Complete an extensive training/on-boarding program
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to perform complex analyses in response to client requests
  • Research medical products and services
  • Provide timely solutions to ad hoc requests from clients under guidance of Advisor/Clinical Advisor
  • Collaborate across clinical service lines on a variety of ongoing projects
  • Act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert for client requests in partnership with Advisor/Clinical Advisor by providing data insights and consultation
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This job operates in an office setting
  • This is a full-time position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Some flexibility in hours is allowed with manager permission, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • This position does not require travel
