The TractManager/Hayes Evidence Advisor is a clinical team member that assists assigned hospital or health system clients apply evidence to clinical decision making.

The successful Evidence Advisor will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse--BSN required (MSN strongly preferred)
  • Have hospital / health system supply chain experience, specifically working on value analysis projects related to product standardization, new product acquisition, and product utilization in health systems
  • Have high-acuity, in-patient clinical experience (preferred)
  • Have a minimum of five years' experience in healthcare systems/hospital environment with understanding of the use of evidence in decision-making within hospitals
  • Have exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external interactions with clients, peers, and project stakeholders; direct experience working with clients and stakeholders recommended
  • Have project management experience, including hands-on experience managing projects of various size and scope


  • Manage a portfolio of health system clients interacting with supply chain, value analysis and, when possible, clinical leadership; create internal relationships that support research needs of clients' projects'prioritization and execution, such as new product acquisition, product standardization initiatives, product utilization projects, and strategic planning with an overall goal of helping clients reduce clinical variation, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs.
  • Conduct ad hoc research in response to client questions by completing bibliographic and regulatory database searches, online research, plus review and synthesis of abstracts and/or interpretation of information in Hayes reports. Produce written reports and responses in order to meet the business, clinical, and evidentiary needs of the client.
  • Perform scoping of requests for Hayes reports, coordinate with other Hayes clinical and scientific colleagues regarding client requests as needed. This includes specific topics and/or report elements to ensure appropriate clinical and evidence support for clients and prospects.
  • Determine appropriate level of service available to client according to contracted assets; facilitate any negotiations needed to provide client with requested information in compliance with client's existing subscription.
  • Responsible for client relationships including client outreach, partnering with sales team (Client/Enterprise Executives) during contract renewal process as needed, and identification of potential upsell opportunities and professional services for additional TractManager products and services based upon client needs.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing orientations/training for assigned clients and prospects as needed. Monitor client usage monthly and drive usage through interactions and relationships based on insights from data.
  • Support sales team by conducting demonstrations of the value of clinical evidence to potential clients and managing limited trial engagements.
  • Execute No Search Results (NSR) program and follow-up as needed with assigned clients. Support other Client Services team members, as needed.
  • Participate in LIVE CHAT client service activity providing online coverage, scheduling support and message updates.
  • Maintain or exceed customer satisfaction benchmarks
  • Travel to client sites to develop relationships, including workshops/conferences up to 25% per year.
  • Performance of additional duties and tasks as identified by Management as needed.
