Position Purpose: Utilizes expert knowledge of multi-faceted human resources management to provide onsite generalist HR support for employees associated with a particular TractManager office location. Also provides corporate-wide HR project support, as needed.

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in HR generalist roles.
  • Possesses experience in setting goals, objectives and metrics, as well as driving projects and programs to timely completion.
  • Ability to understand, document and train others on processes and procedures and to successfully support the implementation of changes, as needed.
  • Possesses a high attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism in all venues of communication.
  • Can be trusted with highly sensitive talent, compensation and other HR-related data; remains confidential and protects sensitive data and information.
  • Possesses a high level of emotional maturity; handles stress and personnel issues with the utmost professionalism.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Word and email required; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint also strongly preferred

Licenses / Certifications Desired: SHRM Training and Certification desired but not required; may be asked to attain such training and certification as ongoing professional development in this role.

  • Provides onsite HR support for employees associated with a specific TractManager location, with tasks including but not limited to areas such as:
    • Performance management and improvement systems;
    • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns;
    • Employee on-boarding and recruiting assistance, as needed;
    • Compensation analysis and interpretation of data
    • Communication and rollout of HR policies and procedures;
    • Employee relations;
    • Company employee communication, as needed;
    • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health;
    • Partners with HR Payroll & Benefits, Employee Engagement, and other areas within HR as needed.
  • Proactively offers continuous improvement ideas for processes and tools to facilitate the success of HR and the organization.
  • Proactively engages team members to gain their insights and implements change accordingly, as applicable.
  • Handles sensitive data and information with the utmost discretion.
  • Collaborates well with all Pillars within HR and contributes ideas, support and initiative. Demonstrates a willingness to jump in and help in any HR area when extra hands are needed; has a can-do and yes-I'll-help attitude.
  • Successfully develops rapport with employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Support and help champion all HR-related or corporately necessary change initiatives; can get others excited and on-board.
  • Develops and provides reports and documentation as required or requested for compliance or general reporting needs.
  • Travel up to 10% is possible, to attend key HR meetings as needed.
