Position Purpose:

The Solutions Marketing Director plans and oversees the execution of the launch of new solutions  across the corporate family of products and services. This ranges from  research and discovery of new solution opportunities, business case development, project and resource planning, coordinating development and operational readiness, content marketing and overseeing go-to market launch activities for TractManager.

 

Education & Experience:

  • A 4-year undergraduate degree in marketing and/or business studies
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning and launching new software and products
  • At least 2 years of healthcare industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Hospital: procurement, contracting, value analysis, supply chain, finance, operations, or administration
    • OEM/Vendor: medical equipment sales, product management, marketing or development
    • Payer: policy development, analysis or administration

 

Competencies & Work Style:

  • Collaborative skills: As a Solutions Marketing Director you will have to work with teams across your organization. This includes the Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support, Operations, Services and Training.
  • Communication skills: Excellent speaking and writing abilities for both internal stakeholders and customer facing content are a requirement in this role. You will frequently have to present about new Solutions opportunities, develop messaging, content marketing plans, and sales enablement that all tel a consistent 'story'  about our solutions, products and services, for various marketing channels.
  • Research skills: Market intelligence and competitive insights is a critical part of building and sharing the opportunity for a new solution; analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.

 

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Develop the go-to-market strategy for assigned solutions.
  • Develop Solutions messaging that differentiates new offerings from others in the market.
  • Communicate the value of the solution to the sales team and support the development of sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
  • Collaborate, plan and measure the success of Solution launches.
  • Through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas.
  • Assist in operational planning to ensure product availability, supportability and profitability.
  • Establish timescales for development of new solutions and technology requirements with product management and technology.
  • Collaborate with Pricing resources to determine appropriate pricing structures and  assist marketing in creating content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts.
  • Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences.
  • Research competitor offerings and react when appropriate.
  • Gain the trust and credibility of cross functional teams as your Solution subject matter expert across the company.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This is a largely sedentary role; however some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • This position may require travel up to an estimated 25%
